Attack of the Witty Jews!
We all know Jews are witty (case in point, Sacha Baron Cohen, Zach Braff, Woody Allen, etc.), but this holiday season, we took it up a notch in our newspaper wittiness. I posted Krauthammer's law earlier, but I've also read some other Op-Eds that made me laugh out loud: Jewish in a Winter Wonderland By Cindy Chupack and Think Christmas has it bad? You don't hear Jews complaining about the War on Hanukkah by Joel Stein.
These are some witty Jews to keep your eye on. I think every major newspaper (that circulates in an area that has a significant Jewish population) has to have at least one token Jewish Op-Ed writer who brings some wit to modern jewish issues, at least once a year (although, the Boston Globe seems to only have a Jewish cartoonist in the Op-Ed department: Dan Wasserman).
